Pretty much everyone believes that iPads have improved their lives. However, in order to maximize your iPad experience, you must learn as much about this mobile device as possible. Richard Vanderhurst shares tips to make your iPad very useful.
You can get to all of your active apps easily on your iPad. Simply double-click the Home button. A bar near the bottom of the screen will indicate which apps are in use. To switch between apps, just tap the one you want to access. In order to get rid of the bar, swipe downwards on the screen.
To you find it annoying when your iPad asks if you want to join a detected Wi-Fi network. You can go to your settings and disable this feature. Select Wi-Fi, and from there, you can turn off this feature.
Is there anything more annoying than accidentally launching a seriously noisy app? Press and hold the button used to turn down the volume, and the device will mute automatically. If you use mute often, you can set your lock orientation button as a muting alternative.
If you are sick and tired of being notified of a local Wi-Fi connection, change your settings. Look for the option which gives you the choice of joining networks. Turn that setting off, and you will finally be rid of the constant notifications.
If you want to review a photo or video you just shot, you do not have to select the camera icon on the bot-tom left of the screen. Instead, you can use one finger to swipe to the right, and voila, there is your picture or video. Previous photos can be seen by swiping left.
As a general rule, those that have used the iPad will praise its virtues and usefulness. To make the most of this piece of technology, make sure you are fully aware of what it can do for you. Review the information here and your iPad’s potential will soon exceed your expectations
